Before a couple can head down the aisle and say ‘I do’, there’s generally a bit of planning necessary.
That’s where Echuca-Moama Weddings and Events Festival comes in.
With close to 70 local vendors, the event is a one-stop shop for all things weddings, but also any other special occasion on the horizon — engagements, birthdays and anniversaries. The festival has it all.
Along with showing services, new products and ideas, event-goers will have the chance to chat with those making their day special — from photographers, cake decorators and florists through to venues, celebrants and more.

“A lot of people walk away with their whole wedding planned from start to finish,” festival vice-president Tracy Luscombe said.
Having moved to the Echuca Racecourse three years ago, the event is looking to host more than 400 people.

Tracy said she was looking forward to the relaxed, bubbly atmosphere once more.
“We’re really excited to get back to a bit of normality,” she said.
“It’s been tough with the last three years — brides having to postpone — so it’s nice to see people be able to celebrate.”

The event will be held on Sunday, May 7 from 10am to 3pm at the Echuca Racing Club, on the corner of Scott Rd and Murray Valley Hwy, Echuca.
Tickets are available at the door for $10 (free entry for under-14s).
