With the recent dry weather and cost of living increases, Goulburn-Murray Water is providing its customers with a range of financial support options.
These can include payment extensions and flexible payment plans.
G-MW business and finance general manager Michael Gomez said it was always better for customers to use these financial support options sooner rather than later.
“The past 12 months have been very dry, which has a big impact on a lot of our customers,” Mr Gomez said.
“We have several different financial support options available to people and are eager to work with anyone who is struggling to find the option that is best for them.”
In February, reminder notices were sent to customers who were still yet to pay their fixed charge accounts, due in December 2024.
Mr Gomez encouraged customers who were still struggling to pay these bills to contact G-MW.
“We have the support options available to help people, but we need them to reach out to us so that we can provide that support,” he said.
