After almost 30 minutes of racing, the overall line honours in the 2025 Cavalier Homes Wharf to Winery had to be shared, with the men’s and women’s winners finishing with identical times.

At 27 minutes and 38 seconds, Regan Hollioake and Merlin Tzaros took out their respective categories on Sunday morning, finishing four seconds faster than overall third-place Josh Dew.
It was an impressive result for Wangaratta High School student Tzaros, the junior beating out plenty of more seasoned competitors.
Meanwhile, Hollioake continues to add to her impressive haul of accolades at the multisport weekend, taking her second straight women’s Wharf to Winery off the back of picking up her fourth consecutive sprint triathlon line honours on Saturday afternoon.
Kate Murphy was the second female across the line, finishing in 28 minutes and 19 seconds.
Also contested was the 1.5km shortened course, with a pair of juniors earning line honours.
Olivia Collins was the first out of the water in a time of 18 minutes and 39 seconds, shorty followed by Henry Burriss, who logged 18 minutes and 47 seconds.
The 3km event starts at Aquatic Reserve just upstream from the port, while the 1.5km shortened course starts from the Victoria Park Boat ramp.
Both events conclude at Morrisons Winery in Moama.
This year’s Wharf to Winery featured over 230 swimmers, well up from the nearly 170 that competed in 2024.
