Duffy was aboard Fox Appeal in race five, claiming win number two of the day by just shy of two lengths over the mile, and very nearly had another in race seven, steering Flycatcher to second, a length back from Dirty Grin.
The treble would be completed in the final race of the day, with Maid In Dubai getting home by a nose ahead of Thunder Force to seal a memorable day for the duo.
Ballarat trainer Archie Alexander had the other winner in Rosa Juliet, who triumphed by a length in race six.
There’s plenty of action to come at Benalla Racing Club, with a Tuesday meet set for March 11, before the Euroa Cup on Saturday, March 22, which promises to be a fantastic event.
