Table Tennis Victoria hosted the annual Shepparton Veterans Open at Shepparton Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 29.
The event was contested by players in a range of age categories, starting at over-30 and advertising play as high as over-85 matches.
The event came with some excitement, after pandemic restrictions and last October’s floods disrupted proceedings in recent years.
Players came to the tables of the Goulburn Valley from associations across the state, from Dandenong to Warrnambool and everywhere in between.
Games took place across Sunday, kicking off at 9am and scheduled to wrap up at 7pm as veterans piled in to play.
Rechelle Zammit perused the indoor tables at Shepparton Sports Stadium to photograph the action.
