Tigers eye wins and success under new leadership

Reigning premiership winning player-coach of Girgarre Sheree Starling has taken on the tall task of heading up Rushworth’s A-grade netball side, providing the Tigers a well of experiences and triumphs to draw on in 2025.

She has brought 2024 premiership defender Abby Sergienko and former Kangaroo Lily Waasdorp over to suit up for the Tigers in 2025.

Starling emphasised how she has begun to change Rushworth’s culture and setting a new organisational expectation through fresh and different initiatives

“Pre-season has been good so far, just getting into the rhythm of everything and getting organised,” she said.

“I think everyone is on board and excited about the changes so hopefully we are in for a great season.”
