Many factors have contributed to this outcome, and we are so grateful that the impacts of the last two years appear to be diminishing, notwithstanding the extreme hardships so many people have experienced and still face.
ClubMulwala Snooker Club has a very full calendar of events including the President’s Trophy, which was fought out on Monday 21 February.
Heie Hansen continued his excellent early season form when he took out his regular training partner in Tony Cincotta to claim the title. Heie and Tony are both in great touch and will no doubt feature in many of the year’s playoffs.
Our club event held over Monday 28/2 and Tuesday 1/3 saw the second playing of Bazza’s Quirky Calendars, which is named after Barry Jackson in honour of his contribution to our club over many years.
This is a best of three frame event and the final between Jake Thompson and Tony Cincotta proved a very worth contest over that distance. Jake got over the line in the third frame after a closely fought contest that was only decided by the last few colours.

Congratulations to both players on making this final and the standard of their play throughout the context.
Social events on Wednesday 23/2 saw Dave Arzuhaldzic beat new member Ric Conomy and Tony Cincotta defeating Dave Arzuhaldzic on Wednesday 2/3.
Ultra-consistent Tony made three finals of four events in this two-week period and Dave featured in two to confirm how well he is also playing.
As people can see on the ClubMulwala website and in its members newsletter, we welcome new members or anyone who may like to give snooker a try.

There are a variety of events held every Monday and Wednesday evening and there are plenty of opportunities for new players to join or come along to try our facilities out.
We have two excellently maintained full size tables available for competition, practice and visitor use, and a regularly updated handicapping system to ensure players from beginners to advanced level can compete equally.
There are also plenty of experienced and skilled players who can help with advice and tips on how to improve your game or perhaps adapt it for those who have played pub or social pool in the past.
