Shepparton export Harry Boyd will not have to wait long for his first game as a Saint.
The former Bear - who was a crucial cog in his side’s 2018 Goulburn Valley League premiership triumph - will debut for St Kilda in round one of the 2025 AFL season.
The Saints will also unfurl Liam O’Connell, Max Hall and Jack Macrae for Sunday’s clash against Adelaide.
“Liam, Harry and Max have each earned their spot through hard work and dedication, and we have full confidence in them as they step up to AFL level,” St Kilda EGM Football David Misson said.
“Each of them will take the field knowing they have the trust and support of their teammates and coaches. We congratulate all three players and look forward to seeing them seize their opportunity on Sunday.”
Boyd first arrived at Moorabbin as a train-on player in November, before officially joining the club a few months later through the SSP.
The 26-year-old Norwood ruckman was awarded the SANFL's prestigious Magarey Medal in 2024 alongside Sturt player Will Snelling, averaging 42 hitouts, 20 disposals and 10 clearances per game while leading the Redlegs to another grand final appearance.
