Six Deniliquin Junior Tennis Club players tried out for a chance to represent their area in the regional primary school tennis team on Monday.

The group of players all travelled to Hay, where they were met with some tough competition.
Two local players on the girls’ side, Charlotte Gatacre and Sophie Eddy, were fortunate enough to make it through to the next level of selection.
Ned Wettenhall and Lenny Hanns also made it through in the boys’ selection.
These selected players will now head to Griffith in a couple of weeks to try out for the Riverina PSSA (Primary Schools Sports Association) tennis team.
