Although interest in other grades of football and netball have been strong, the club has taken to social media to try and garner more interest in getting a side together.
The Pastoral Times believes some other district clubs are having trouble with numbers in the same grade, but to date Waaia is the only club to announce it will not have a thirds team this year.
The Blighty Football Netball Club is well known for its club community and culture, always creating an environment conducive to players and members enjoying their time at the club.
Not only is there an opportunity to be involved, belong and feel a part of a great club, but, there are also the many opportunities to play, which may not be the case at other football netball clubs.
The Blighty thirds football side is scheduled to train every Thursday, and the club encourages anyone interested in playing to get in touch as soon as possible.
All enquiries can be directed to club president Rhys Tremble on 0427 061 998, or thirds coach Phil Randall on 0404 414 043.
