A highlight of the weekend was Terry Howe’s hole-in-one on the 9th hole on Saturday.
Saturday’s event winners were Shaun Mills, Colin Thompson, Chris Mitsch and Sam Callanan with best three scores of 110, from Bev Purtill, Faye Harrington, Keith Jenkinson and Suzanne Jenkinson on 107.
On Sunday the winners were Kevin Dunmore, Geoff Corboy, Wayne Pitts and Carlos Gomez with a best three total of 110, from George Willis, Robin Hood, Josh Hunt and Mark Thomas with 107.

Last Thursday the ladies had a stableford event, won by Prue Grant with 37 points, by a shot to Denise Hunter.
On Wednesday there was a big field on Australia Day for the stableford event.
A grade winner was Peter Astill with 38 points from Chris Thomson 37, in B grade Andrew Johnstone had 37 to win on countback to Vicki Hutton, in C grade Geoff Bracken had 40 points, from runner-up Rob Sobolewski 39, and in D grade David Grant was the winner with 38 points, by a shot to John Marshall.
Our veteran golfers are heading off to Parklands Golf Club for the first round of the 2022 Goulburn Valley Veteran Golfers Association on Monday. It will be a welcome return to this competition after two years of cancellation due to Covid.
Tomorrow is a singles versus par and next week we will have usual events including ladies 9 holes on Tuesday, men’s stableford on Wednesday and ladies stableford on Thursday.
Next Saturday, February 5, is the Taskers Garage men’s and ladies’ monthly medal.
A Mixed Fourball Pennant competition between Deniliquin, Barham, Rich River and Murray Downs will start on Sunday February 13, with 14 players required each week. If interested please put your name on the list in the pro shop.
Finally, why not support your club with Friday Night Fun. Excellent meals are available (bookings preferred), and raffle tickets will be on sale from 6pm with draws at 7.30pm.
