As usual we had our very supportive parents helping out on court which is great to see.
We are so lucky as a club to have so many willing parents offering to help.
The courts were full of kids enjoying the great game of tennis.
Section 1 played with some new look teams and kids that haven’t played this section before.
It is always great to see the progress from the Red, Orange and Green Hotshots groups then eventually playing Section 1 competition.
The new teams played off and saw JC Earthworks beat Wyoming 10 sets to 6 with some great results from the new players.
Congratulations to Henry Campion and Murray Park for winning their three sets to help JC Earthworks win, and Katelyn Eddy for winning her three sets trying her best for Wyoming.
In the other match, CWS finished strongly after winning most of the singles to eventually beat Nutrien Ag 11 sets to five.
The girl power of Sophie Eddy, Harriett Maher and Sophie Bliss all winning their three sets helped CWS.
Ollie Dellwo also won his three, while his brother Angus Dellwo was the only three set winner for Nutrien.
