The Woolworths NetSetGo Come and Play Day is making a comeback with netball centres across the region inviting kids aged 5-10 for a free day of fun and skill-building.
Pop up clinics kick off from February 10 and are open to kids of all skill types, while Come and Play days begin on February 15.
Netball Australia executive general manager of netball Megan Simpson spoke glowingly about the program.
“Woolworths NetSetGo has been able to provide a place for youngsters to kick-start a life-long love of netball for 17 years now and is Australia’s leading netball starter program,” Simpson said.
“February is the perfect time for parents to start to think about sports for their children and Come and Play Day is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the program and see what netball can offer on and off the court.
“It is also a great opportunity for families to come together and reconnect with friends after the school holiday break.
“Come and Play Day is one of the key times where we can connect with the next generation of netballers, inspiring them to engage in community sport in a fun, safe, inclusive and accessible way.”
For those new to the program registrations are now open, while kids who are already registered with their Woolworths NetSetGo club for 2025 are also encouraged to attend a clinic near them with a friend, sibling or on their own to meet some new friends.
Interested parents and guardians can sign up their little ones via the NetSetGo website.
