Moama scored a healthy percentage booster in Bendigo weekend premier pennant at the weekend after steam-rolling Marong to the tune of 52 shots.

The Steamers ran away 16-108 to 2-56 victors on their home green, helping them keep the top spot heading into tomorrow’s final-round clash against last-placed Castlemaine.
Kevin Anderson was Moama’s biggest winner, rolling opposing skip Mark Dickins 35-10.
Bowls great Alex Marshall also notched a runaway rink, 32-14 against Darren Marshall.
Kevin Brennan rounded out the Steamers’ winning rinks while Daniel Fulton was the only winner for Marong.
The win catapulted Moama two games clear of third with a round to play, locking in a double chance for the Steamers.
Meanwhile, Bendigo also earned the double chance, with a thrilling three-shot win over South Bendigo.
Kangaroo Flat bounced Castlemaine 111-54 while Bendigo East and Eaglehawk picked up wins in round 17.
The Steamers will look to secure the minor premiership when they face Castlemaine away.
