The Demons started the game settled and strong. The margin was close for the whole game, with a slight run away by Mathoura in the last quarter. The Dee’s kept level headed and played their own style. Big congratulations to Miley Conn who played her first A-grade game, spending two quarters in GD. Miley has a bright seniors career ahead of her.

There were improvements from the girls and strong efforts across all four quarters. With some tough match ups, the girls didn't drop their heads and gave it a fair go. Fiona Edwards got the Jerilderie Earth Moving BOC after moving from GS to GK and shutting down their tall shooter. Jess Daunt ran her heart out through the game and received the Laura's Beauty Award. Charlotte Close got the Colony Award after a tough gig in the backline.
C-grade: Jerilderie 32 lost to Mathoura 42.
What an amazing team effort from a developing team with new combinations. The first half was a really close contest, with great passing and smart decision making, combined with an enthusiasm and frivolity of a new team. There was only one goal in it at half-time. The second half was just as great with effort, however the wind got up which led to a few rogue balls and Mathoura managed to creep away to a 10 goal final deficit. We all commented that it seemed a lot closer, and we are all excited for next week and the improvements we can make as a team. Thanks to all the girls for trying new positions and giving it their best go.

Great improvement and excellent team work were on display this week. A few bad passes were quickly recovered by turnovers and minimal footwork errors. It is great to see this team gelling together. A big thank you to our under-15s players who stepped up and filled the gaps comfortably.

The under-15s team really clicked against Mathoura, with great passages of play and a margin to show for it. The Dees held the lead from the first quarter.

The under-13s had a slow start, going down in the first quarter 1-10. They came alive after the break and started to gel as a team. Georgia was a welcome addition this week, and quick passing into the ring provided Jacinta and Stella plenty of opportunities to score. They were solid in defence with everyone trying hard to stay in front of their players. Well done to Pippa who stepped up from under-11s to help out for a quarter. The girls came back, but the slow start proved too costly.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The girls played a strong game against Mathoura and used their voices well, sharing the ball around the court. All the girls adapted well to changes in positions again this week and got some great intercepts and goals. The girls welcomed Harriet Walker to the team this week, and she played a fantastic first game in the midcourt.
