The Corowa Cricket Club is inviting the local community to join their Ladies Day charity event at Ball Park this Saturday, January 28 raising money for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Event organiser Nichola Lane said the day was an opportunity for ladies to grab their friends and enjoy a fabulous day of live music, canapes and drinks with two incredible guest speakers lined up for the day.
“We are encouraging women to get out of the house, grab their friends and have some fun while raising money for a very worthy cause,” she said.
“We’ve got a guest speaker from the Cancer Centre, and local lady Michelle Black who will share about her journey with cancer and what she’s achieved.
“We will have nibbles, drinks available at the bar, great entertainment and a few raffles on the day.
“There are some great prizes to be won which have been generously donated by local businesses. The support from these businesses has been unbelievable.”
The event kicks off at 2pm at the Corowa Cricket Club in Ball Pak. The theme for the day is pink and white.
In conjunction with the event, the Corowa Cricket Club will host an A Grade match against East Albury beginning at 11:30am.
Tickets are available online at www.eventbrite.com.au/e/corowa-cricket-club-ladies-day-tickets-506805447737 or can be purchased on the day.
