Katamatite won the toss and chose to bat.
Riley Thompson opened the batting for Katamatite, posting a neat 20 from 43 before being sent packing by Cobram skipper Lenny Power (2-10).
The most damage with the bat came from efforts by Archie Daniel (33 from 73) and Cooper Mynard (33 from 72) at the top of the Katamatite batting order.
In turn, Cobram made sure that Katamatite’s in-road was never going to be easy. Eamon Hyde claimed 4-8 with the ball, joined by team-mates vice-captain Bodey Webb (3-6) and skipper Lenny Power.

By the end of its first innings, Katamatite was all-out for 99 in the 39th over.
Cobram’s Webb opened the batting, but the runs were slow to come. His side’s woes continued to add up as bowling by Thompson (4-14) dismantled Cobram’s mid-order batters.
Despite efforts from Eamon Hyde (18 from 41, not-out), Cobram found itself all-out for 38 in just the 17th over.
Katamatite’s Riley Thompson was named man of the match for his efforts with bat and ball, while team-mate Archie Daniel did his fair share of damage with 4-1 at the bottom of the Cobram’s batting order.
