Pre-season training is in full swing and plenty of familiar Goulburn Valley faces are putting in the hard yards, particularly down in Geelong.
Echuca’s Annabel Johnson is in the midst of her first pre-season at the Cattery, alongside fellow GV recruits in Benalla’s Becky Webster and Kyabram's Julia Crockett-Grills.
Though official pre-season training has only just kicked off, players have been preparing for the season for up to three months through optional training sessions and touch work, alongside individual gym and running sessions.
The 2022 AFL Women’s season begins on Thursday, January 6.
