Tuesday welcomed midweek knockout Goulburn Valley Playing Area action, pitting the top four teams across the six divisions against each other with hopes of booking a grand final date in a fortnight’s time.
In Division One, reigning premier Shepparton Golf was handed a narrow loss by Tallygaroopna as the Redlegs gained passage to the big dance.
Tallygaroopna took two of the three sets of ends to eventually score a 14-58 to 2-53 result, now set to meet the victor of Golf versus Tatura-Hill Top in next week’s prelim.
The Bulldogs romped their way past Shepparton Park, recording a 16-86 to 0-44 triumph during Tuesday’s other semi final.
Down the pyramid, the first grand finalists locked in across the tiers are Shepparton Park (Division Two), Nagambie (Division Three), Euroa (Division Four), Tatura-Hill Top (Division Five) and Mooroopna Golf (Division Six).
