Goulburn Valley Playing Area’s State Pairs competition is hurtling towards finals this Sunday after last weekend’s opener and, in the men’s division, Mooroopna is purring.
The Cats’ duo of Justin Spedding and Darren Kelly will face Tallygaroopna’s Guy Madigan and Mitch Sidebottom in the semi-final, while another Mooroopna pairing has punched its ticket to the semis.
Dean Andrews and Josh Warren wait to play the winner of Shane Walsh and Mick Hanna versus Brent Reiner and Charlie Boswood.
On the women’s front, Shepparton Park’s Sue Tyson and Kerri Leask will face the winner of Margaret Cox and Janis Delmenico against Mia Nowosad and Jenni Hill.
