On a cyclonic Sunday under the covers at Shepparton Park Bowls Club, the area’s top players battled the elements — and each other — during a GMBR Champion of Champions event.
It was the headline event underscoring a bumper slate of bowls at Shepparton Park and topping the podium in the men’s singles was none other than Ken Sutcliffe.
The Euroa stalwart added another eureka moment to his decorated career timeline, beating Numurkah Golf’s Mark Jones 25-13 in the final.
Meanwhile, Shepparton Park’s Kate Bush had a big win on home greens, defeating Numurkah’s Jennifer O’Connor by 14 shots in the women’s Champion of Champions singles final.
