Tatura and Hill Top split into separate entities for the draw, together featuring alongside Shepparton Park in Section 1 play.

The three sides played off in round-robin games, and after all were wrapped up, each team had come away with one win apiece.
Not only that though — everyone also managed to finish with a dead-even score percentage — Park and Hill Top finishing with 27 for and against each, while it was 25-25 on the day for Tatura.
Section 2 at least gave us something of a clearer picture, as the Tatura home rink trio of Jason Carter, John Attwood and Tom Crawford powered through group stage play undefeated.
