There will also be regular competitions, with stableford on Boxing Day and again next Saturday and Sunday.
The ladies will have a 9 hole stableford event on Tuesday, there will be the usual men’s stableford next Wednesday, and ladies stableford on Thursday.
The clubhouse will be closed for a few days, before re-opening next Wednesday after which it will be trading as usual.
There will be no raffles or meals in the clubhouse tonight or next week, with Friday Night Fun resuming on January 7.
On course the ladies had their stableford event last Thursday, with the winner being Ann Bull on 37 points by a shot to Marg Rothwell.
Saturday was a fourball aggregate, won by Albert Liebenberg and Neville Werner who had a combined 78 points, with runners-up Wayne Hodgson and Daryl Nalder who scored 77.
Wednesday’s A grade stableford winner was Peter Joice with 39 points, from runner-up Shaun Mills 36, and in B grade Lee Pattinson 39 from Russell Begg 37.
The club thanks everyone who supported the Christmas raffle, which was drawn on Wednesday. Winners were: 1st Pam Jarratt; 2nd Barnes Fallaw; 3rd Grace Tiri; 4th Sue Butcher; 5th Wendy McKindlay; 6th John Wacheke.
