The Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association All Abilities Basketball program is back again for term one 2025, with registrations now open.
The season starts very soon on Thursday, February 6, so interested participants are encouraged to register ASAP.
The program is aimed at teaching basketball skills and playing games for people with disabilities aged 13+ in an all-inclusive, fun and learning environment.
Coach Kayla Oughton is enthusiastic about continuing the program again in 2025.
“The response to the first program last year was amazing,” Ms Oughton said.
“The participants loved being on the court and playing and it was a joy to see the excitement that playing basketball brings to all involved.”
The program runs for 8 weeks from 3.30pm – 4.15pm on a Thursday night at Sacred Heart College MPB and starts on February 6.
Cost of the program is $40 and participants must register online prior to the start date to be able to take the court.
