Corowa Tennis Club’s eight courts will be in full swing with four days of action-packed competition for this year’s 95th annual Easter Tennis Tournament.
Juniors and veterans will play on Good Friday, it’s the singles on Saturday, doubles on Sunday and mixed doubles on Monday.
Entries close on Sunday, April 6.
“We are expecting 150 players,” club president Greg Filliponi said.
“There are A, B and C Grades, both male and female with most players from Melbourne.
“The tournament is a good standard and everyone is welcome to come down and see the players in action.”
There are four synthetic courts and four grass courts and Mr Filliponi said the courts were looking really good, especially after rain last Thursday.
“We’re grateful to our major sponsor Club Corowa.”
Play starts at 9.00am each day with morning and afternoon teas, as well as a barbecue lunch, available for players and spectators.
