The street cruise component of the event was a fan favourite.

The biennnial event, held on the weekend, saw hundreds of hot rod and custom vehicles convoy their way through Tocumwal, for car enthusiasts and everyone to marvel at.
“With over 290 entrants this year, we were thrilled to welcome back long-time supporters of the Murray River Rod Run and greet new faces joining us for the first time,” a club spokesperson said.
“Your passion, dedication and incredible rides are what make this event so special.
“Thank you for bringing the Tocumwal streets alive, showcasing your pride and joy, and sharing your love for hot rodding with our community.
“The event wouldn’t be the same without all of you, we truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we can’t wait to see you all again in March 2027.”
As well as the opportunity to see some exceptional vehicles cruising through town during the cruise held on Saturday evening, locals and attendees alike on Sunday were treated to entertainment as the Pacific Belles played to crowds, estimated in the thousands.
The Pacific Belles is a 1940s trio of female singers, who set the tone on Sunday where there was a show and shine with live performance.
And, adding to that were the spectators, who were on their best behaviour and bringing with them another level of excitement and enjoyment.
“Once again, Tocumwal and our incredible spectators have outdone themselves! Your energy, enthusiasm and support bring the Murray River Rod Run to life, creating an atmosphere like no other,” the spokesperson added.
