The AGM of the Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary will be held tomorrow, July 27, at the hospital meeting room, at 2pm. New members are always welcome.

Jerilderie CWA members will be holding a raffle stall all day Friday, on the sunny side of the main street near the pharmacy. Your support would be appreciated.

It is noted that because of a nursing shortage, Murrumbidgee Local Health District will be curtailing services at the local Jerilderie Hospital (MPS).
Patients requiring emergency care will be referred to Finley Hospital, and people are urged to call triple zero rather than attend the hospital in Jerilderie, for the time being.

A combined service will be held at 10am at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Finley, on Sunday to farewell Fr Walter Firth.
He will be returning to Melbourne after being in charge of the Anglican Parishes of Tocumwal, Finley and Jerilderie since 2020.
Lunch will follow the service, which will give parishioners from the three centres the opportunity to say farewell to Fr Walter, his wife Catherine, and their daughter Georgiana.
All are welcome.

Six young people received their First Holy Communion, and a Special Blessing was received by five fellow students, at the 10.30am Mass at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Jerilderie on Sunday.
It was pleasing to see the church nearly full for this special occasion.

Save the date for the Jerilderie Flower Show, which will be held at the Civic Hall on October 27, 2023.

Jerilderie Football Netball Club has a busy time coming up, starting with their last home game this Saturday versus Strathmerton.
Sponsors will be recognised for their support with some complimentary drinks and food from 12.30pm.
This Saturday is also Ladies Day from 3.30pm, with nibbles, lucky door prizes and a ladies pamper raffle available. The $15 per person entry will include a complimentary drink, or $10 for an alcohol free ticket.
On Tuesday, August 1, the footy club has the job of cleaning up the B’n’S car park, starting at 4.30pm. If you can help contact Troy on 0417 375 168.
Sunday, August 6 will be the JFNC presentation and vote count day, starting at 11am at Monash Park. A bar and barbecue will be available.
This will be for all grades of football and netball, including Auskick and Net Set Go.
