None other than Mathoura Tennis Club’s Junior Tennis Program.
The success of the club’s initial program last year has prompted it to hold another one.
The four-week program will start on Wednesday, February 19 at 6pm.
It will involve 30 minutes of parent run tennis practice and skills.
The cost will be a 2024/25 membership fee of $10.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event will be held at the Caldwell Hall on Friday, March 21 from 7pm and food will be available for purchase on the night.

Another event which will delight ‘green fingers’ and is returning to Mathoura is the Mathoura Plant Buy, Swap And Sell.
It was a successful fundraiser for Mathoura Public School last year.
The Organisers’ advice to interested people is, stay tuned for more details.
But you may also like to start potting up some plants so you’re ready when organisation is finalised.

After playing against each other last weekend, our Division One male bowlers teamed up and travelled to Tongala and enjoyed a win over the ladder leaders.
Let’s hope they can keep it up and repeat their performance of last season.

I’m sure there are some enthusiastic students at Mathoura Public School who would happily make some more banners to help them on their way.
Talking of school – and students – if you see kids still in holiday mood and not heading to school even though it’s the end of January, that’s OK.
The Department of Education has changed the start of the school year to February from this year.
And I doubt you will hear any complaints from the youngsters.
