Creator Nicole Morse said she was relieved to get it over the line, after having to postpone the event previously due to COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions.
“It was awesome, heaps of people turned up despite the heat,” she said.
Ms Morse built Regional Rummage to help make sustainable clothing more accessible to people who can't afford to buy artisan Australian-made brands.
Successfully selling out the stalls at the hall, only a handful of people decided to pull out when the Victorian Government issued a five-day stage four lockdown, just over a week before the event.
“Those five days were so stressful,” Ms Morse said.
“From the few cancellations we had, we were actually able to refill some stalls, ending up with about 86 stalls.
“The food truck sold out of food and apparently the bakery had its busiest Sunday.
“Some of my friends came up and I didn't even get to see them because I was running around all day.”
The success of the sale has made Ms Morse seriously consider organising a follow up.
“I'm hoping to host an event every three months,” she said.
“But it will be like every six months in the Goulburn Valley, alternating with one somewhere else in between.”
