Danni Moore, the proud owner of The Grazing Trail, offers charcuterie boards, cookies and grazing hampers.
But she’s got a new addition to the menu: the kilo cookie.
It’s exactly what it says in the name: A hefty cookie weighing 1kg, which can be customised and purchased just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Ms Moore said the idea came about when her 14-year-old son saw a pizza place that sold cookie cakes.
“My son’s not a ‘cakey’ person ... he asked ‘Oh my god, Mum, that’s what I want. I don’t eat cake; I want a cookie cake,’” she said.
“From there, I kind of started playing with different sizes.
“I thought, when I make that big one, why don’t I just weigh it out and see how much it actually weighs?
“It weighed close to a kilo, and I thought I’m gonna actually make this a kilo cookie.”
The first customer of the kilo cookie was Ms Moore’s husband when she made it for him on his birthday.
The kilo cookie has three sizes, which will be launched at the Violet Town Market on Saturday, January 13, from 8am to 1pm.
The kilo cookie is available in a 1kg size, a 500g and a petite, and comes in two flavours: chocolate chip and vanilla sugar.

“I’m going to start taking them to market so people can actually physically see them and think about design,” Ms Moore said.
“I’ve got chocolate moulds that are the alphabet, so people can choose the wording that they like.”
Ms Moore said people might order from other cookie makers and pay $60 to $70 for the same product.
“I just can’t see how they can charge that,” she said.
“Mine are absolutely less than that; mine are homemade, good nourishing ingredients, no preservatives.
“I don’t make anything out of the box; it’s all made at home from fresh ingredients.”
Ms Moore’s vintage kitchen van, called Nahla, travels to Avenel, Violet Town, Tahbilk Winery and Nagambie for farmers’ markets.
Nahla is also available to hire for parties, functions and other events.
