Susan Madden reappointed to the MDBA

“Susan brings impressive skills, experience and networks, drawn from a background in family farming in the Dubbo region and natural resource economics, backed up by a First Class Honours degree and a number of industry awards,” Mr Pitt said.

“Across public and private sector roles, Susan's experience includes work with catchment management authorities and local land services, consulting and accounting firms, and regional farming group Macquarie River Food & Fibre, all of which included hands-on involvement in planning and water reform.”

Ms Madden was first appointed to the authority for a four-year term in March 2016.

The MDBA also comprises chair Sir Angus Houston, chief executive Phillip Glyde, Professor Stuart Bunn and Joanna Hewitt, who are also supported by several expert advisory committees.
