Another concern is the swimming pool , which is rapidly approaching the end of its life and requires an urgent redevelopment plan.
I would like to finalise the implementation of the Growth Strategy and ensure it moves forward in accordance with the prior committee’s determination.
We need to protect Deniliquin from flooding into the future, by implementing the long overdue flood plans that have taken far too long to finalise.
It will take time for the newly elected councillors to get their heads around the general business of council, so if elected I hope I can support and help them understand the business of local government.
My goals are leadership, unity, growth and success.
If the new council focuses on those goals and works as a team it will be a great place to be.
Voters have a list of high-performance candidates who will unite to ensure whoever takes office will succeed.
I will strive to allow every councillor both respect and the chance to voice their opinion and beliefs, freely and with healthy discussion.
I will ensure the public have total transparency and are kept abreast of all council happenings.
The future for Edward River is going to be productive and fantastic.
