Local schools made an effort to celebrate dads and other father figures with a range of special celebrations last week.

Ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday, Deniliquin South School held a special breakfast at the school on Friday morning.
As well as feeding their loved ones, students also conned the special men in their lives into taking part in the photo booth - memories to keep forever.
At Deniliquin North School, students were given the chance to pick up a few last minute gifts when the school’s P&C hosted a Father’s Day Stall.
Mathoura Public School’s Father’s Day activities were held off school grounds on Friday, hosting a barefoot bowls fun day as part of their annual Blokes Day tradition.
The school received funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Agency Grant to assist with the full afternoon of activities.
All attendees were treated to a delicious sit-down lunch before an afternoon of bowls and trivia.
