The Rushworth Men's Shed has been boosted by a small Federal Government grant.

In the latest round of the National Shed Development program, Rushworth was one of three in the Nicholls electorate to receiving the funding.
It was granted $1200 for first aid training and seminars. The other Nicholls Men's Sheds selected were in Seymour and Nagambie.
Federal Member for Nicholls Damian Drum said they were successful in the 21st round of the grant funding.
“Men’s Sheds are an integral part of our local communities,” Mr Drum said.
“This Federal Government will continue to support Men’s Sheds across the country, including here in Nicholls, as part of our comprehensive approach to improving the health of Australian men and boys.
“This latest funding means Men’s Sheds can buy new equipment or provide training to their members, allowing them to broaden their skills, in turn benefiting the wider community.”
