Rochester held an Australia Day ceremony and breakfast at Lions Park on Wednesday morning.

The breakfast summoned a large crowd of Rochester locals for a bacon-and-egg bonanza served by the Rochester Lions Club, and was attended by Rochester Ward councillor Paul Jarman, Karen Livingstone, Rochester Lions and Rochester Motoring Club.
Two of the biggest honours went to Rochester locals, with Dimity Pearson named Campaspe Shire Young Citizen of the Year and the Wirima in Rotary Park Committee taking home the Campaspe Shire Community Group of the Year award.
