Thirty-eight per cent of students at Rochester Secondary College received an ATAR over 70, with more than 50 per cent of students receiving an ATAR over 60.
Ella Kerlin is Rochester Secondary College’s 2021 Dux, achieving a score of 93.35.
Ella is keen to study physiotherapy at La Trobe University in Melbourne, something that has been in her plans for a while.
“It’s always what I’ve had in my mind,” she said.
Ella achieved an impressive 45 study score in Physical Education along with other impressive scores in Indonesian, English, Biology and Maths Methods.
“It’s been a challenging time, this year and last year, but thanks to all the support from Ms Gould, and Mr Sanders and all our Year 12 teachers, we all made it through,” Ella said.
“Everyone should be very proud.”
Jorden Stockman, Keely Parker, Shreya Gosai and Jayvier Horkings all received outstanding results.
All students at the college achieved a mean study score of 27.9
“We are incredibly proud of all our students and their achievements in 2021,” said a representative from the school.
“Our class of 2021 have endured two years of interrupted learning and have triumphed demonstrating resilience and determination.”
