The event is one the children love each year and having the whole school involved makes it more exciting for everyone.
The weather was excellent and the children enthusiastically competed in the run.
With a slight wrong turn from the leaders in the cross country, the Grade 5/6 students ended up running 2.5km and not 3km.
Prep to Grade 2 students followed the Grade 5/6 students and they finished up running 1.9km instead of 1km!
Our Grade 3/4 students ran 2km.
It was fantastic to see so many kids puffing and trying their absolute best during the run, even if they ended up running further than first planned!
Students who completed the run inside the allocated time qualified to run in the Campaspe Cross Country last week.
First to finish the 2km race was Cooper Rasmussen and first past the post for the 2.5km was Asher Rasmussen.
