More than 550 waterfowl, including ducks and geese, and 450 other fowl, including chickens and turkeys, were on display at the Shepparton Showgrounds on Sunday, June 25.
Organiser Anne Beaty said the event exceeded expectations.
“It really was a fabulous day, well attended,” Ms Beaty said.
“There were so many members who came along to support the show, and especially the kids, the ducks seemed to be a big hit with them.”
Judges crowned winners in both fowl and egg sections, with a champion bird declared in each of the four fowl divisions.
The champions were:
Champion Waterfowl in Show: Akers Flock, Tallygaroopna, with their white Muscovy drake.
Champion Junior Waterfowl in Show: Pyper Jennings with her Pekin duck.
Champion Bird in Show: Jude And Alan Lawrence with their large Old English Game pullet.
Champion Junior in Show: Gabby Hoskin with her jubilee Indian Game pullet.
The event was sponsored by the Greater Shepparton City Council and Green Valley Grains.
