Police appeal for witnesses

A multi-agency search took place involving Murray River Police District, Victoria Police and Marine Rescue NSW.

The search continued to 9.45am on Thursday, January 16, when the body of the man, believed to be that of Nathan Taylor, was located south of the Five Mile boat ramp by Victoria Police divers.

Murray River Police District officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to contact local police.

In particular, police believe a number of people were on the Victorian side of the Murray River at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
