A new rotunda with a commanding view of the Murray River, complete with barbeque, new seats designed and built by the Corowa Men’s Shed, and reimagined landscaping is ready to be officially opened.
The whole community is invited to attend the opening at South Corowa Lions Park on March 29 at 12.30pm.
The new rotunda is already getting lots of use from local community who use the barbecue and fishermen who use the nearby boat ramp to launch their boats.
“The Lions Club especially invites all Lions from the V6 District to come to the official opening, which will rededicate the rotunda to one of the very active past members, the late Peter Morrow, who was instrumental in getting the park established many years ago,” Lions President Stuart Whisson said.
