New RFS shed for Birganbigal Road

The RFS will have a new shed at Birganbigal Rd.

At its October 18 meeting, Edward River Council approved a development application for the construction of a new NSW Rural Fire Services (RFS) Shed on Birganbigil Road.

The location for the proposed new shed is a Road Reserve near the intersection of Birganbigil Road and Moonee Swamp Road.

It is the former Birganbigil Hall site that is currently vacant and surrounded by farm land.

The development proposal is to construct a steel framed, colorbond clad storage shed, 6.3m wide, 15m long and a maximum of 5.7m high.

It will incorporate a concrete apron at the front entrance, an accessible toilet that will be serviced by a septic tank and rain water tank.

The development application was exhibited for a period of 14 days in accordance with the Edward River Council Community Participation Plan and no objections were received.
