“It’s also a great platform for local organisations who are looking to promote their club or group to potential new members,” Cr Alden said.
“In the past, people had to search the internet, social media, or go direct to local websites to find the information they wanted. This was not only time-consuming and frustrating but also challenging for those new to the region.
“Given the COVID-19 lockdowns the need to reconnect with community has never been stronger.
“We all know that connected communities are strong communities and through Connect Greater Bendigo local groups, organisations and clubs can raise their profile in the community, promote their events and attract new members.”
