This year will see the Nathalia Agricultural Society running its 128th Annual Show on Saturday, October 5 at the Nathalia Showgrounds.

The show will host the 2024 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour and will feature the Melbourne Cup trophy on display.
A group of ‘Cup royalty’ will also visit as well as the Living Legends retired racehorses for a meet and greet.
Cup dignitaries will give a talk and judge the Nathalia Fashions on the Fields.
The day will also welcome the comeback of the Mr Nathalia mullets and facial hair entries.
Prizes will also be awarded for the best dressed men in their race-day apparel.
The full horse program in six rings will include: DEVA, two open show rings, light harness and Clydesdales, led/breeds, and pony club/fun ring.
The rings will also feature Racing Victoria’s Off the Track classes and Supreme champion classes.
Brent Mitchell from Mitch Holsteins will judge the All Breeds Dairy Cattle competition.
The home crafts pavilion will host classes for all ages and interests, including cooking, garden production, woodwork, flowers, LEGO, school displays and special classes on a Melbourne Cup theme.
Other competitions will include the pet parade, motorbikes and prime lambs.
The society is promising a full day of free entertainment for children and adults, including the LevelUP gaming team from Horsham with its virtual reality experience.
Black Snake will have its snake and wildlife pit, the Dookie Lions Club will have its mini train, and there will be face painting, giant sumo suits and giant soccer.
The usual events include the animal nursery, historic vehicles and ploughs, market and community group stalls and show bags.
