Molotov cocktails were thrown at a Shepparton home in the early hours of Sunday, December 15.

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit Senior Constable Trevyn Pinto said glass bottles with some sort of accelerant in them were thrown at a house in Sunrise Crt about 2.20am.

The bottles shattered on the ground, starting a fire.

Minor damage was done to a vehicle parked at the house, as well as the property’s front window.

The occupant of the house put out the flames before calling 000, Sen Constable Pinto said.

No-one was injured in the incident.
