There may be some stiff and sore local ladies feeling sorry for themselves for a few days, as the seniors exercise group resumed classes yesterday, after a break over the Christmas/school holidays.
A reminder that, unless otherwise advised, the group meets Tuesdays and Fridays at 10am, at the Sporting Complex.

Due to another recent question received about the disappearance of the original Jerilderie Red tree at the old residence at the Public School, this is a follow-up to the original story.
According to a fairly reliable source it is thought that it was a case of mistaken identity, and the wrong tree was cut down.
The dead tree marked for removal is still standing! Only in Jerilderie.
If you have any further information to add I would be pleased to pass it on.
