“I sing a lot in the shower and wherever I can. The club putting on this show is pretty special.” Proud mum Krystal added: “I think he’ll go a long way.”
Helping him on that journey is Anthony Tenace who donated two vouchers to the two rising stars, valued at $110 each for free music sessions.
“I just like to get kids to experience the next level in the music industry,” he said. “The talent here today was amazing, very unique. I can relate to their style and wish them well in their endeavours.”
Anthony, and Rosita Gattus of Cobram, were the talent quest judges. “There was really good talent here,” former singer of group ‘Girl Talk’ Rosita said.

“With continuing singing they can do very, very well and be recognised. There’s great talent for their age groups.”
Four hours of performances on the Tuesday and Wednesday, and one hour on the final, Thursday comprised the three-day event with a total of 10 contestants.
ClubMulwala’s marketing and entertainment co-ordinator Trish Storer told the contestants: “This is our first one ever. We do hope to do more of these, probably starting mid-year. Hopefully we can make it bigger and better.”
The talent quest provides youngsters with “holiday fun and another alternative” during their school holidays according to Trish.
“It was nice to see the kids singing and their families come to town and see our club,” she said.
Best duo was Mia and Arthur McEachern of Albury with judges Anthony Tenace and Rosita Gattus.
