It’s getting close to Christmas, which means the brightest street in Echuca is switching on the lights again.
The Echuca Lions Club will again be organising the Illawarra Dve Neighbourhood Christmas Lights charity collection with help from Charles L King First National Real Estate Echuca.
For the past 14 years, the residents of Illawarra Dve have brightened their homes with Christmas decorations and lights, to the delight of many families and children, and Lions volunteers are at the ready to collect donations from those who drive and walk the lights trail.
Volunteers will be standing on the corner of Illawarra Dve and Butcher St from Wednesday, December 21 until Saturday, December 24 from 8.30pm until around 11pm.
The funds raised will be donated to local charities and organisations.
