It was a beautiful morning for a hearty Australia Day breakfast put on by Deniliquin Rotary Club at the Waring Gardens on Wednesday, kicking off a special day of Australia Day celebrations for the community.
Locals were in high spirits as they tucked into their full cooked breakfast which included a delicious spread of egg, bacon, sausages, cooked tomato and toast.

There were Australian flags being handed out and some lovely displays of Australia Day garments and accessories.
Breakfast was followed by wonderful performances from Sing Australia and the Edward River Concert Band and of course the presentation of the annual Australia Day awards.
