Time is running out for the community to have their say on what they would like to see in the expansion of the Yarrawonga Splash Park.

Moira Shire Mayor Libro Mustica said the expanded splash park, located on the beautiful Lake Mulwala foreshore, will be an all-abilities water play space, enhancing the all-abilities playground, barbecue area and Changing Place facilities adjacent to this asset.
“Feedback closes Friday, February 25 and we are still looking for ideas on what the community would like the splash park to feature,” Cr Mustica said.
“We have a budget of almost $500,000 for this upgrade and it is vital we get as much feedback as possible.
“The splash park is open for a much longer period than the outdoor pool summer season and is free to use, making it an inclusive play space for everyone.
“The expansion of this wonderful area will enhance the family-friendly atmosphere of the foreshore and be a space of relaxation and recreation for all demographics in our community.
