Aaron Brain was just as surprised as everyone else at how fast the Shepparton BMW dealership outgrew the old premises.

And like everyone else, he’s excited to see the business grow even further.
“We’ve built it for the future,” Mr Brain said.
“We simply outgrew our old footprint, and our dealership needed to change.”
Mr Brain took over as dealer principal and director of the award-winning Shepparton BMW from Jeff Tracy in 2013, after working other jobs in sales.
“It was a family-owned, family-run business for a long time, and I’ve continued that legacy,” he said.
“The business has continued to grow, and it’s been a privilege to be a part of that.”
Mr Brain said he followed in his predecessor’s footsteps as much as possible, and still regularly supports community charities and events. He also helped facilitate the auction of a luxury BMW at a prostate cancer fundraiser in 2015.
“We obviously benefit from the locals supporting us, so we very much support local,” he said.
“We’re very much behind breast cancer awareness and we have been a sponsor and supporter of the Biggest Blokes BBQ for prostate cancer since its inception.”
Shepparton BMW is able to service the community as the first dealership in Australia with the new brand’s new corporate identity — and the third in the world.
The dealership has now adopted a self-sustainable business model to align itself with the brand.
The team is also bringing the MINI brand to the Goulburn Valley.
“MINI is really exciting,” Mr Brain said.
“It’s a diverse brand with lots of personality.”
For Mr Brain, it’s all about putting the customer first, in the most innovative way possible.
He said it was all part of providing the customer with the best experience possible, from interactive features to providing a nice space for customers to visit.
“You’re driving a premium car, you should get a premium service.
“The staff all have the same mentality — we make it fun, and we do it professionally.”
